As an attendee of an elite institution that claims to be a women’s college, I was startled by what appears to be an obsession with “gender identity” and an abandonment of feminism permeating the culture and curriculum. I spoke with five of my gender critical female peers about the state of feminism at our college.

WoLF saw this invitation to submit a response as an opportunity to educate government administrators and leaders about several profoundly important issues related to women’s rights and the treatment of lesbians. WoLF is gravely concerned about how lesbians have been harmed by gender ideology.

The proposed HHS regulations will redefine discrimination on the basis of sex, expanding it so that “gender identity” will be considered a form of sex-based discrimination. If HHS is allowed to include “gender identity” as a form of sex-based discrimination, healthcare providers in a wide variety of government programs will be forced to provide “gender affirming” medical interventions to patients.

HHS has released proposed rulemaking titled Nondiscrimination in Health Programs and Activities. These proposed regulations threaten women’s sex-based rights and they threaten healthcare providers who do not want to provide harmful, unnecessary cosmetic medical interventions under the guise of “gender-affirming care.”

WoLF submitted a co-authored amicus brief for A.M. v. Indianapolis Public Schools, a Title IX athletics case in the 7th Judicial Circuit Court.

WoLF collaboratively released a statement with Family Policy Alliance (FPA), regarding our shared concerns about the US Department of Education’s proposed Title IX regulations.

The proposed "gender identity" rules are contrary to Title IX and will profoundly harm the interests of women and girls.

We must recognize the female class, and we must recognize issues that impact the female class as disasters in their own right—not as prologues to real trouble for other, real people. Only by naming the issue and uniting as a cohesive class can we begin to work together towards a solution.

Last week I was in Washington, DC to rally for women’s sports on the anniversary of Title IX. When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on the following day, I was presented with another opportunity to stand up for women’s rights: protesting at the Supreme Court just hours after this devastating ruling.

Earlier this month, Matt Walsh and The Daily Wire released a provocative documentary, “What Is a Woman?” The film is both a humorous and serious examination of a question we shouldn’t have to ask.
