WoLF Legal Director Lauren Adams was invited by Alaska Senator Shelley Hughes to give testimony on Alaska Senate Bill 140, The Even Playing Field Act, on April 22, 2022. She was also given the opportunity to answer questions about radical feminism, gender abolition and sex-based rights.

In honor of Women’s History Month and in response to the many ways that women’s rights have been eroded in the United States, WoLF worked collaboratively with Independent Women’s Voice to create and introduce a historic piece of model legislation for the United States: the Women’s Bill of Rights.

Last week, the Women's Liberation Front (WoLF) submitted oral and written testimony in support of a “Save Women’s Sports” bill in Delaware.

During the past two weeks, WoLF focused on two “Save Women’s Sports” bills in South Carolina: SC House Bill 4608 and SC Senate Bill 0531.

Dr. Mahri Irvine, WoLF’s Executive Director, submitted written testimony in support of TN HB 2835 and SB 2696, two bills that would enact the “Youth Health Protection Act.” These bills provide a mechanism to protect children from unnecessary, life-altering, and permanent medical interventions that are frequently promoted by gender ideology activists.

Lauren Adams, WoLF’s Legal Director, submitted written testimony in support of Maryland House Bill 1319. HB 1319 added “gender transition” of a spouse to the grounds for absolute divorce. This means that if someone’s spouse engages in “gender transition,” that person will have grounds for divorce. Read more on our website.

Last Tuesday, WoLF submitted testimony in opposition to Washington’s appropriations bills, Senate Bill 5693 and House Bill 1816. These bills included a section about establishing $150,000 for the creation of a task force to study the decriminalization of “sex work” in the state.

WoLF submitted testimony on Tuesday in support of a New Hampshire House Bill 1180 that allows public entities to use sex to determine placement and eligibility for female-only spaces and activities.

WoLF staff, volunteers, and other Washington state residents testify in opposition to House Bill (HB) 1956. If enacted, HB 1956 would risk disallowing disclosures of public records requests seeking information on male offenders housed in women's prisons.

Kacie Mills of the WoLF Board of Directors along with WoLF Advisory Council member Jennifer Chavez both testified on Thursday against Maryland Senate Bill 550 (HB453), which would allow male offenders to request transfer to women’s prisons if they claim to identify as “transgender” or “non-binary.”

In collaboration with Family Policy Alliance, the Women’s Liberation Front submitted written testimony on Thursday in support of Ohio House Bill 454. This bill, entitled the Save Adolescents from Experimentation (SAFE) Act, would prohibit hormonal and surgical procedures from being performed on minors for the purpose of “gender transition.”

Kacie Mills of the WoLF Board of Directors and WoLF Advisory Council member Jennifer Chavez both testified on Tuesday against Maryland House Bill 453 (HB453), which would allow male offenders to request transfer to women’s prisons if they claim to identify as “transgender” or “non-binary.”

HB1956 would cover up important information about trans-identified men housed in Washington women’s prisons. Urge Washington lawmakers to vote NO.

Maryland House Bill 453 would place male offenders in Maryland prisons based on their “gender identity”. HB453 is currently in committee, awaiting a hearing on February 8th at 1pm.

Several Georgia senators are sponsoring a bill in the current legislative session aimed at protecting girls’ rights to single-sex sports at their schools and colleges.

The proposed Indiana law strips medical autonomy from surrogate mothers and even allows men to harvest eggs from comatose or dead women.

TAKE ACTION: On January 12, 2022, Senator Cotton introduced the Preventing Violence Against Female Inmates Act which would require the Bureau of Prisons to house federal prisoners by sex rather than by self-declared “gender identity.”
