Members of the Women’s Liberation Front took part in a week packed with political action and organizing, January 26 – February 2, 2019. We’ve collected links to information and media here to commemorate that week.

— Women Stand Up Protests at Facebook and Twitter offices with Standing for Women

— Delivery of WoLF’s Declaration of No Confidence in LGB Movement Leadership and Natasha Chart’s speech in front of HRC headquarters.

— Speeches hosted by We Need To Talk:

Lierre Keith, WoLF co-founder

Kara Dansky, WoLF board member

Brie Jontry, 4th Wave Now contributor

Meghan Murphy, founder of Feminist Current

— Visits to the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, with WoLF members along with Julia Long, Venice Allen, and Posie Parker.

— WoLF member Julia Beck and board members Jennifer Chavez and Kara Dansky join Ryan Anderson and Hacsi Horvath at the Heritage Foundation for “The Inequality of the Equality Act: Concerns from the Left,” organized by parents of children experiencing Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD).

This work is nowhere near finished. Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, announced on March 7 that the reintroduction of the “Equality Act” is imminent. We intend to continue our visits to Representatives and Senators to make sure they understand how the “gender identity” provisions in the EA undermine women and lesbians.
