Trump’s executive order on gender identity helps protect women, but protections for LGB people still lack clarity

In a six-part series that namedrops WoLF over a dozen times while attempting to “debunk” inconvenient realities about gender identity, they spared not one sentence addressing our actual concern: the harm to women and girls.

WoLF is disappointed to learn that the U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear the case of Tingley v. Ferguson. The case centered around Washington state's SB 5722, a law that infringes on the rights of therapists and patients by mandating 'affirmation-only' therapy for minors with gender dysphoria.

WoLF submitted comments to the Virginia Dept. of Education focused on free speech, safeguarding of bona fide occupational qualifications, and the incorrect use of Bostock to support unlawful guidance, and described improvements to be made to the policies, including the use of coherently-defined terms and the protection of lesbian, gay, and bisexual (LGB) students.

WoLF saw this invitation to submit a response as an opportunity to educate government administrators and leaders about several profoundly important issues related to women’s rights and the treatment of lesbians. WoLF is gravely concerned about how lesbians have been harmed by gender ideology.

On June 15, Women’s Liberation Front (WoLF) and Family Policy Alliance (FPA) released a joint statement in opposition to President Biden’s “Advancing Equality for LGBTQI+ Individuals” Executive Order.

Some radical feminists and gender critical people have been attacking WoLF in social media posts, by implying we are anti-gay/anti-lesbian because of our targeted joint efforts with some groups on the right wing of the political spectrum.

Lesbian sport legend Martina Navratilova has published a piece in the Sunday Times of London, affirming her commonsense view that it’s unfair for men who identify as women to be allowed to dominate women’s athletic competitions.

“While claiming to fight homophobia, you promote the neutering of many youth whom you know are likely to grow up to be happily same-sex attracted, and abet the abuse of lesbians and gay men over exclusive same-sex attraction. This will not end discrimination against LGB people.”
