Letter From the Canadian Feminist Frontlines
“As a Canadian feminist, I've fought this battle for so long now that I am war-weary.”
Therapist Speaks Out
“I watched with growing horror as I observed therapists in my local Facebook group trade templates for writing so-called ‘top surgery’ letters, which are for radical breast amputations performed on healthy young women”
From the Medical Front: “This kind of erasure is a slap in the face to women”
“I was instructed, by a state-mandated medical textbook, that those with female anatomy should be referred to as ‘people with vaginas’ and in some circumstances, ‘birthing people.’”
Representing Lesbians at the SF Dyke March
“She said the sign could cause discomfort to participants with penises.
From a Detrans Teen
“It's scary for me to think of how much damage I would've done to my body had my parents not interjected.”
Battle of the Sexes (Not)
“Do they really believe they are showing off their skills and competing in a fair match?”
Talking to My Grandson About Feminism
“I want you to know why I am a feminist; so I could endure the life I was given.”
LGBT Organization Covered Up Sexual Harassment by Man Pretending to Be a Lesbian
“As soon as this individual finds out I'm a lesbian, they asked me in a breathy voice, ‘Tell me what intimacy between women is really like.’”
“I am a teacher and could very well lose my job.”
“It is my sincere hope women are allowed freedom of speech so that they may express their own personal views without having to live in fear of their safety and livelihoods.”
“I am a woman, a female, a butch female lesbian woman!”
“I had years of other kids asking if I was a boy, it was scary more than hurtful as I didn't know myself! And then as I got into my mid to late teens I started liking girls, yes like that! Oh boy, even more confusion ensued, even more questions!”
We Must Protect Women’s Rights
“Women are presently appallingly disregarded from both the left and the right.”
90’s Sexism in Sports Still As Present as Ever
“I remember thinking that it’s sucked that I had to live that experience but, maybe for girls of the future, it wasn’t for nothing.“
“Dear CNN & MSNBC: It's Time to Talk to a Radical Feminist”
“We need a genuine, nuanced discussion about these policies and laws concerning Self-ID. It’s time for you to return to reason and ask a Radical Feminist to join your panel.”
“Do Women Matter?”
“Are women the social, political and economic equals of men in modernity?”
“Minors are Medically Transitioning”
“Minors are medically transitioning – Even pro-affirmation sources admit it“
“In Afghanistan, divorce is always the woman's fault”
“Divorced women in Afghanistan confront numerous other challenges beyond finding a life partner — financial difficulties, insecurity, and social stigma.“
No Locker Rooms for Old Women
I live in Oregon and am appalled with all the signs on public restrooms that invite in men based on their feelings. No. This is not progress.
Intersectional Feminism: Taking a Look at Race
Racial discriminations toward women compound to be largely disempowering. Even today, in places like Kenosha, Black girls are still disproportionately criminalized. They are more likely to be neglected and deprived of the resources to fight for their rights within the legal system. Issues like these cannot be approached by tackling gender oppression alone. Instead, they must be treated as an intersection of multiple power structures, considering both sex and race.
There is no Hope for Girls and Women in Here
The Taliban's Ministry of Higher Education has "suspended" girls' education in all public and private universities. If there is no school, no university, then what will our future be like? My heart is full of pain. I don't see hope or a good future for me, my sisters, and all other young students like me and other girls.
