Kaeley Triller
YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties, Washington, 2016 - “Kaeley Triller, a mother and survivor of child sexual abuse, was fired from her job at the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties in Washington state. After the YMCA announced that they would be allowing men to use the women's locker rooms, Triller pushed back, arguing that the new policy would put women and girls at risk of abuse.” (4W)
Julia Beck
LGBTQ Commission, Baltimore, Maryland, October 2018 - “To defend lesbian rights, I joined the city’s LGBTQ Commission and then was elected to a leadership position on the Law and Policy Committee. … I was ousted from a city commission, all because I said “sex” is important. Now I hear the man who took my place, the man who then called himself a lesbian and led the charge against me, has since detransitioned. ” (4W)

Promptworks, Philadelphia, July 2019 - “On July 23, 2019, Promptworks executive became aware of an article you published on Medium, dated July 14, titled “Non-binary is the new ‘not like other girls,’ and it’s deeply rooted in misogyny.” We determined the content of your article and the linking to Promptworks and Promptworks clients violates the company’s social media policy…” (4W)

The Tobias Literary Agency, August 2020 - “Literary agency assistant Sasha White has been fired by her employer, The Tobias Literary Agency, for comments that made a distinction between biological and trans women.” (Bounding into Comics)
Carole Hooven
Harvard University, July 2021 - “My troubles began when I described how biologists define male and female, and argued that these are invaluable terms that science educators in particular should not relinquish in response to pressure from ideologues. Rachel Damiano & Katie Medart
Grants Pass School District, Oregon, July 2021 - “Rachel and Katie were accused of using school district time or resources in the creation or promotion of “I Resolve,” a grassroots movement founded by the two educators which proposes “solutions for education policies” to address the conflict of rights arising from new “gender identity” laws and policies impacting schools in Oregon and across the country. In March, the two posted a video on Youtube describing their proposal, which includes separating school bathrooms by physical anatomy.” (4W)
Melissa Darlingh
Milwaukee Public School District, Wisconsin, April 2022 - “MPS fired Ms. Darlingh because of remarks she gave at a feminist rally in Madison last April. The former counselor spoke at the event to express her view about the harms to children from certain aspects of “gender identity ideology.” The suit is filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.” (Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty)
Ann Menasche
Disability Rights California, May 2022 - “On May 11, 2022, Ann Menasche, a long-time civil rights attorney, lesbian, feminist, and left-wing activist, was fired from her job of 20 years without warning within a few days of sending an email to staff that abortion bans harm women as a sex, despite a strong work record advocating for her clients.” (Defend Feminists)
Inga Thompson
Women's Cycling Team, May 2023 - “One day after Inga Thompson appeared on Fox News encouraging cyclists to take a knee in protest to the UCI’s transgender inclusion policy, the France-based American pro women’s cycling team Cynisca Cycling has confirmed that the ex-pro American cyclist is no longer on their board of directors.” (Bicycling)

National Multiple Sclerosis Society, February 2024 - “Fran Itkoff was let go from National Multiple Sclerosis Society after 60 years of service. She was told she had breached diversity and inclusion guidelines after asking about use of pronouns on email signatures” (Daily Mail)

Mulitple Festivals and Platforms, February 2017 - “I was temporarily banned from Facebook several times, as my posts were mass-reported by my critics. … The festivals that had planned to include it faced threats from disgruntled activists. It had been invited to screen at a local café, but after an online boycott campaign, the venue cancelled the show. The Art Theater in Champaign, IL, where I live, cancelled a rental contract when a local group of activists claimed I was “dangerous,” thus making me (to my knowledge) the sole filmmaker to be banned from that institution in its history.” (Quillette)

WORT 89.9 FM Public Radio, Madison, March 2018 - “I applied for another Access Hour to interview Meghan Murphy and Julie Bindel… I lost more than just that regular show. I lost multiple gigs, my band, and my ability to even play at area open mics all due to trans activist complaints to venues around town calling for me to be banned. New York City Book Launch, April 2023 - “My book Feminism Against Progress was due to launch at a venue in New York City. But last week, the venue canceled the event booking at short notice, following anonymous social media pressure. My thoughtcrime? Saying in public that humans can’t change sex, and that performing gender surgery on kids is "butchery.” (Fox News)

Eventbrite, July 2023 - “Eventbrite is facing blowback for taking down an event page for women advocating on behalf of single-sex spaces on the grounds that it violates the platform’s policy against hateful content.
Independent Women’s Network chapter leader Michelle Evans, organizer of the Aug. 12 Texas-based event Let Women Speak Austin, said her gathering was’intentionally misrepresented by Eventbrite as hate speech.’” (Washington Times)

Lisa Littman
Brown University, September 2018 - “Brown University is being criticized over its decision to remove news about a study on transgender youth from its website.
The paper by assistant professor Lisa Littman suggests that gender dysphoria, or a conflict between one's gender identity and sex assigned at birth, occurring around the time of puberty — as opposed to early childhood — could be due to peer pressure or online influences.” (NBC News)

Polis Project, New York, March 2020 - “One screening [of Sundar’s film But What Was She Wearing?] was scheduled in New York, organised by the Polis Project. The proverbial i’s were dotted, posters designed and I was even introduced to a female Indian moderator. But a week before the screening, the organiser (also a woman of Indian origin) sent me an email. She said the event would be cancelled because of my ‘transphobic’ views.” (Spiked)

Etsy & Printful, November 2020 - “‘I ♥️ JK Rowling,’ the poster read. It continues, ‘WOMAN = ADULT HUMAN FEMALE.’ The painting, full of butterflies, flowers, and symbols of female empowerment, is a tribute to another cancelled woman, Harry Potter author JK Rowling… The t-shirt design with a simple message would go on to be banned from at least three different online merchandising platforms in only a few days.” (4W)

Abigail Shrier
Amazon, Spotify, & Target, March 2020 - “Shrier’s first publisher backed out on publishing the book after staff complaints. Then, Amazon refused to allow her new publisher to sponsor ads for the book…. When Shrier joined Joe Rogan for a podcast about the book, Spotify employees threatened to strike and demanded the episode be removed from the streaming platform.
Retail giant Target temporarily pulled the book from its shelves in response to two complaints on Twitter. They later reversed the decision after widespread backlash. A GoFundMe page created independently by a concerned parent to raise money for a billboard promoting the book was pulled by the crowdfunding site.” (4W)

The Vermont Principals’ Association, February 2024 - “A high school basketball team has reportedly been banned from play after forfeiting a game against a team with a transgender player.
Mid-Vermont Christian School's girls basketball team forfeited a game against a team with a transgender player in February of 2023. The Vermont Principals’ Association reportedly then banned the team from future tournaments.” (MSN)
