Dr. Devin Buckley, a feminist philosopher and WoLF board member, was scheduled to speak at Harvard University on her cutting-edge work on British Romanticism and philosophy. But on April 18th, Dr. Buckley was uninvited from the event because of her board membership with "an organization that takes a public stance regarding trans people as dangerous and deceptive."
WoLF opposes this blatantly false characterization of our work and Harvard's flagrant disregard for free speech. Dr. Buckley's original talk did not have anything to do with her feminist beliefs. In defiance of Harvard's misogynistic censorship, WoLF invites you to join us for an evening with Dr. Buckley to discuss her cancelation, free speech for women, and the ideological capture of academia.

Dr. Devin Buckley left academia after finding it to be ideologically hostile to her intellectual and political interests. She received her Ph.D. at Duke University where she studied philosophy and literature. She also has an undergraduate degree in neuroscience and has achieved publications, awards and honors across disciplines. Dr. Buckley now uses her talents as a writer and her training in rigorous argumentation as a philosopher to advocate for feminist causes outside the academy. Since many of the pseudo-feminist ideas circulating in our public discourse originate in academia, Dr. Buckley’s years as a student and professor make her especially keen at explaining these ideas and challenging them.
