April 4 - What is a woman? Kansas Legislature passes bill defining male, female (The Washington Times)

Kansas is the first state to pass the Women’s Bill of Rights, whose language was drafted last year by the right-tilting Independent Women’s Voice and Independent Women’s Law Center, and the left-tilting Women’s Liberation Front.

Lauren Bone, attorney and policy advisor for the Women’s Liberation Front, said that opponents want to paint the bill as “anti-LGBT, but lesbian and bisexual women are disproportionately represented where female-only housing is most critical, such as homeless shelters and prisons.”

“This is why a feminist nonprofit like WoLF teamed up with IWV to write the Women’s Bill of Rights; so that laws protecting them and all marginalized women cannot be changed outside of the democratic process,” she said.

March 29 - J.K. Rowling Calls Trans Procedures on Children ‘Worst Medical Scandal in a Century’ (Daily Citizen)

But in our day, there seems to be a sort of ideological realignment underway. Various liberal individuals and groups like Rowling and the Women’s Liberation Front (WoLF), for example, see eye-to-eye with conservatives on the issue of transgenderism.

Perhaps that’s in part because the issue of performing transgender medical interventions on children is a “civilization-determining reality.”

Though conservatives may not agree with Rowling on many political topics, it’s clear that she is one of the most high-profile and courageous voices speaking truth on this extraordinarily contentious issue.

March 26 - This woman won 34 medals, tells Supreme Court she’s retiring from cyclocross due to transgenders taking over (Must Read Alaska)

Other groups have filed amicus briefs in this case.

One is from the Women’s Liberation Front (“WoLF”), a non-profit radical feminist organization dedicated to the liberation of women by ending male violence, protecting reproductive sovereignty, preserving woman-only spaces, and abolishing gender and sex discrimination.

“WoLF’s interest in this case stems from its interest in empowering and protecting the safety and privacy of women and girls and preserving women’s sex-based civil rights. Those rights are threatened when court decisions and agency policies embrace the vague concept of ‘gender identity’ in a manner that overrides statutory and Constitutional protections that are based explicitly on ‘sex.’ If, as a matter of law, ‘sex’ is no longer understood to be an immutable characteristic, but instead merely a subjective self-declared and mutable ‘identity’ – then the ability to protect women and girls from sex-based discrimination is greatly diminished,” the feminist group wrote.

March 21 - 'There is such a thing as a woman.' Tulsi Gabbard SLAMS Biden's pro-trans policy for 'erasing our existence' and harming confused kids, saying radicals forced her out of the Democratic Party (Daily Mail)

Hardcore feminists are among the most vocal critics of liberal policies that seek to normalize radical transgender ideas, including the notion that biological males who transition should be treated as women.

The Women's Liberation Front, for example, says letting biological males compete in women's sports and use women's bathrooms is unfair and even dangerous. The same goes for trans women convicts who want to spend their sentences in women's lockups.

They also warn against giving puberty blockers and other trans healthcare to children, pointing to the rising number of girls who seek to transition to male, without fully understanding the mental health challenges they face.

March 10 - California gender identity prison placement law discriminates against women: state consultant (Just the News)

The gender-critical Women's Liberation Front (WoLF), which is representing female inmates challenging the law on 1st, 8th and 14th Amendment grounds, said The Moss Group report affirms the "dangerous conditions" they have repeatedly raised in legal filings, even as it tries to "gaslight incarcerated women into thinking they just have 'bias' and 'anxiety' related to being housed with violent men."

The 37-page report portrays prison staff and "cisgender women" as initially overblowing the risk despite several documented transfers of men convicted of killing and sexually assaulting children before they applied for women's prisons.

March 2 - Kansas bill provides the definition of a ‘woman’ (Houston Herald)

The Women’s Bill of Rights was conceived last year as model legislation by two groups at opposite ends of the political spectrum: the conservative Independent Women’s Voice and the left-wing Women’s Liberation Front.

They may agree on little else, but both are alarmed by the growing campaign to allow biological males into sex-segregated female spaces based on gender identity in the name of transgender rights.

March 1 - Biden’s trans fanaticism is a menace to freedom (Spiked)

Consider sports in schools. If educational institutions are not allowed to ‘discriminate’ on the basis of gender identity, then young men who think they’re female will be permitted to compete in girls’ teams. It’s already happening. And female sports are suffering as a result. Or consider single-sex dorms, not only in religious settings, like at College of the Ozarks, but on secular campuses too, where young women might prefer to live and associate with other young women. That’s also threatened by the collapsing together of sex and gender identity. This is the Kafkaesque consequence of the trans ideology and specifically of the Biden administration’s ideological merging of sex and gender – it increases the potential for discrimination on the basis of sex by throwing open women’s sports, housing and private areas to men who feel female.

As Lauren Adams of the Women’s Liberation Front put it, Biden’s executive order ‘seriously weaken[s] the ability of federal agencies to even consider the needs of women and girls’. Erasing the biological truth of womanhood leads to the slow erasure of women’s rights.
