“Ever Since SB 132 Passed I Have Been Living in Constant Fear”

To whom it may concern,

The reason I am writing is because ever since SB 132 passed I have been living in constant fear. I understand yes I am in prison however I am a survivor of abuse. So to have men incarcerated alongside of me is fearsome.

I have already had an altercation with one trans man [male who identifies as transgender]. Back in 2011. He is a known rapist. He tried to kiss me I pulled back and fell. He got on top of me and said this would be easier if you were a lot nicer. Out of fear I hit him with a cup. His nose started to bleed on me. I was scared. He had HIV.

After the incident, he was placed in the administration segregation unit [Ad. Seg]. So I feel if this has happened to me once what will stop other transmen from doing this to me again. How can our safety be secure? How do you plan on making sure this doesn’t happen again.

You can’t. So please I ask for this to be reconsidered. Thank you for your time.

WoLF is demanding an immediate halt to all transfers of male inmates to women’s prisons!
